This three (3) piece green robed baby monk set presents a whimsical interpretation of the very well known proverbial Japanese principals. See no evil, 見ざる, 非禮勿視. Hear no evil, 聞かざる, 非禮勿聽. Speak no evil, 言わざる, 非禮勿言. 

Being of good mind, speech and action. Look, listen and speak not at what is contrary to propriety in the Buddhist tradition. 

This proverb is embodied by three baby monks covering their eyes, ears and mouth respectively.
